Lubbock Christian school elementary
Lubbock Christian School partnered with MWM Architects, Inc. to design a new two-story, 36,000 square foot elementary school to support the schoolβs growing enrollment and commitment to academic excellence. Thoughtfully planned to foster a safe, engaging, and future-ready learning environment, the new facility serves Pre-K through 6th grade, organized by age group across two levels.
About This Project
The first floor houses Pre-K through 3rd grade classrooms, while grades 4 through 6 occupy the second floor, creating a natural progression that supports age-appropriate learning environments. In addition to general classrooms, the school includes three specialty learning spaces for art, computer science, and music, enriching the curriculum through creativity and technology.
A compact library and administrative suite are also incorporated into the plan, centrally located to support both students and staff. Security was a top priority in the design, with careful attention given to the control and visibility of all building entrances to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for students and visitors.
The architecture reflects Lubbock Christian Schoolβs mission and values, while providing flexible, efficient learning spaces designed to support both current needs and future growth.
