market streets by united supermarkets
MWM Architects, Inc. has had the privilege of designing all of the current Market Streets by United Supermarkets throughout the state of Texas. These specialty grocery stores, which range in size from 65,000 to 70,000 square feet, offer a unique shopping experience with high-quality food selections and services tailored to meet the needs of their diverse communities.
About This Project
Market Streets are located in a number of cities across Texas, including Wichita Falls, Amarillo, Lubbock, Allen, Frisco, Coppell, and Plano. The design of these supermarkets incorporates conventional steel construction paired with tilt-wall concrete panel exterior wall construction at select locations. The exterior facades vary by location but typically feature a combination of brick, stone, and EIFS finishes, with steel canopies and glass accents that create an inviting atmosphere.
Inside, these stores are designed to cater to a wide range of needs, with departments such as grocery merchandising, pharmacy, bakery, food service kitchens, sushi, produce, dairy, butcher, deli, and seafood. Each Market Street location offers a carefully planned and organized space to provide customers with a comfortable and efficient shopping experience.
