Law office for zach brady law firm

MWM Architects, Inc. was tasked with transforming an existing sporting goods store into a sleek, functional 9,240 square foot law office in downtown Lubbock. The design focused on maximizing the potential of the space through a complete interior demolition and reorganization to accommodate the needs of a modern law firm.

About This Project

The architectural transformation involved the careful integration of new windows, doors, and skylights, which bring natural light into the space while enhancing the building’s aesthetic appeal. The exterior faΓ§ade was updated with stone accents and architectural detailing that preserved the building’s original charm, while introducing a more refined and contemporary design. These updates provide a seamless blend of modern elements and the building’s existing structure.

Inside, the design incorporates a functional yet inviting layout that includes private offices, conference rooms, a bullpen work area, and collaborative spaces. Key design features include architectural stone feature walls that serve as focal points, adding both texture and warmth to the environment. A unique addition was the creation of an apartment within the law office, complete with a private bath, fireplace, and interior fountain, ensuring comfort and privacy for the firm’s key personnel.

The design was conceived to foster both professionalism and productivity while embracing the heritage of the building, creating a timeless and sophisticated environment for both clients and staff.
