Salinas, California. MWM was selected by the Berkley Group, of Dublin, Ireland and Key West, Florida to provide full-service design and construction administration services for a major mixed-use redevelopment project in historic downtown Salinas, across from the National Steinbeck Center. Concept design has been completed; detailed design and preparation of construction documents will begin soon for a construction start in 2004.

MWM is the lead firm in a joint venture with Y.H. Lee Associates for the renovation of the Lionel J. Wilson Terminal (Terminal 2) at the Oakland International Airport. The Terminal 2 Renovation project consists of a new 21,000 sq. ft. baggage claim building, and renovation of 109,000 sq. ft. of existing terminal and concourse areas. The project is part of the first phase of the Port of Oakland's $1.4 billion airport Terminal Expansion (TEx) program.

Oakland, California. Oakland Community Housing, Inc. (OCHI) retained MWM to design a 14-unit affordable housing project. The two and three-story buildings include 3-bedroom, 2-bath townhomes in 3 or 4 unit clusters. The units are developed on two distinct sites each containing off-street parking, common open space and private secure vehicular access. Extensive landscaping, patios, and balconies provide residents with pleasant outdoor amenities and bay views from upper floors.
