Danville, California. This project is a historic restoration of the Spanish Revival style schoolhouse that was erected in 1933 on the site. MWM designed the renovation of the building to serve the Town of Danville as a Town Meeting Hall (Council Chambers).
In addition to renovating the redwood-trussed main room, new toilets, reception areas, meeting room and kitchen facilities were added to provide multi-use potential to the building and to meet handicapped accessibility requirements. The exterior received a new red tile roof and cement plaster exterior wall surfaces, after correcting extensive termite damage repair.
