Oakland, California. MWM provided architectural services for the renovation of the guestrooms, and the addition of passenger and freight elevators in the Spa Wing at the Claremont Resort & Spa. The projects involved taking a sensitive approach to constructing an exposed elevator shaft on the north side of the wing that complements the existing historic architecture. The Claremont Resort was built in the Oakland Hills in 1915.
