Contra Costa County, California. MWM designed three stories of general office, executive office, conference and public interface space located over basement and underground parking for service vehicles in this 40,000 sq. ft. headquarters building. The moment-resisting steel frame structure has no exterior wall columns, nor window wall mullions, thereby allowing total flexibility in exterior office partition locations and allowing totally unobstructed views to the surrounding hills. A reflective glass block wainscot band and a suspended reflective glass sunscreen accentuate the horizontal banded expression of the building.
